Botox is one of the most common treatments available for wrinkles. Botox is a muscle relaxer and is used to reduce the appearance of facial expression lines, such as frown lines and smile lines.
Botox is injected into the muscles using a very small needle. Treatment is quick, taking less than 15 minutes, and is also painless. The effects of botox last for 4 to 6 months on average, after which additional injections will be needed.
Dr. Loeffler has had more experience with botox than many other physicians, as he has been working with it since 1988. Dr. Loeffler’s experience with Botox even pre-dates its FDA approval in the US, as he was trained in Canada.
